Hello and welcome to my blog, Meowtion Mechanics! Here, motion meets curiosity in a space designed to explore the dynamics of the world around us. From basic undergraduate-level dynamics problems to advanced topics like flexible multibody dynamics and 1D system simulations, this blog dives into the fascinating world of motion. Along the way, I’ll mix rigorous validation with fun and unconventional experiments to showcase the beauty of mechanics.
For years, I wanted to create a blog to share my ideas, but time and other commitments always got in the way. With the help of ChatGPT, I finally overcame those challenges. This blog and its posts—including this one—are crafted with the aid of LLM-based tools like ChatGPT, which make writing and designing much more efficient. While ChatGPT assists with structure and efficiency, the core insights are entirely my own. If there’s an error, feel free to assume you’re probably right!
I envisioned a blog with a design I loved, but options like WordPress were too costly, and Medium lacked the customization I wanted. Google Blogger struck the perfect balance between affordability and flexibility, and I based the blog on the Webium Blogger Theme by Yasya El Hakim. Even so, shaping this blog to match my vision took effort, particularly in customizing its layout, JavaScript, and CSS. To make the blog even more functional, I implemented features that Google Blogger doesn’t natively support, such as LaTeX rendering, code blocks, and Markdown-based writing, all with the help of ChatGPT. Once again, ChatGPT played a key role in transforming the theme into what you see today.
As someone with a master’s degree in flexible multibody dynamics, I’ve learned that this field requires constant discovery and study. This blog serves as a record of my journey and a platform to share knowledge with others. Expect posts covering:
- Simple yet foundational dynamics problems
- Flexible multibody simulations and complex 1D systems
- Fun demonstrations of physics concepts
- Validation studies comparing simulations to analytic solutions
- Real-world engineering challenges and their dynamic models
- Practical tips for improving simulation accuracy and stability
- Reviews of simulation tools, algorithms, and methods
Whether you’re a student, researcher, or simply curious about motion, I hope you find inspiration here. Let’s dive into the mechanics of motion together—welcome to Meowtion Mechanics! 🐱
